Here’s how to make cafe latte at home without an espresso machine, using just instant coffee and milk frother. Super easy and quick! But you’ll be surprised how delicious it tastes! NO SUGAR!

Tools I’m using:
1. Coffee scale: I’m using a coffee scale, but you can use any scale that does 0.1g measure. (2.1g of coffee and 2.9g of coffee give totally different tastes!)
2. Milk frother: I’m using a milk frother that can be charged using usb. I tried the milk frother that uses batteries from Daiso shop (which is similar to the 1 dollar shop) but since I used it everyday, the battery version didn’t seem to be the best option for me. I don’t want to keep buying batteries. so I switched to the usb chargeable milk frother and am happy with it. So if you are going to use the milk frother everyday like I am, I’d suggest you go with the usb chargeable one. I bought mine on Amazon, about US$10. My milk frother has 3 modes, and I use the weakest mode for this coffee recipe.
If you want to make fancy latte art at home, this milk frother might not be a good option as it produces thicker texture of the milk. If you don't mind a simple latte art, and just look for a delicious cup of hot cafe latte, this milk frother is fine.
3. Measure glass cup: 500ml, I bought at Daiso shop for 220 yen (about US$2). I use this for warming the milk up in the microwave as well as frothing and pouring.
4. Coffee mug/cup: 300ml size is most suitable for this recipe.
For coffee ingredients, I use:
1. Instant espresso coffee: I use the instant espresso coffee from Brendy, which is the only one of this kind available in my neighborhood in Japan. you can use any instant coffee you like. try to get the one that goes well with milk for this recipe.
2. Milk: just normal milk, nothing fancy.

ok, here’s my super easy homemade cafe latte/cappuccino/flat white recipe:
- Hot water 35-40ml, 90 degree Celsius
- Instant coffee 2.2g
- Milk 200ml, warm up in microwave at 600W, 1 minute 30 seconds
- Mix hot water with instant espresso coffee, stir and set aside
- Froth warm milk for 50 seconds max
- Pour over the espresso coffee and make your latte art ;) that’s it!
You can have a delicious cup of cafe latte in less than 5 minutes!
Every morning is brightened up by this cafe latte now! This is the way I start my day and I’m pleased with the taste! Hope you’ll enjoy it too! Try this recipe first, and then you can modify and adapt to your taste. For example, I found 2.2g of instant espresso coffee tastes best for me, but you might want it lighter and more bitter, so you can adjust the amount of coffee. It also depends on the taste of the instant coffee you use. Or, you can adjust the heat of you coffee by increasing/decreasing the warming up time in the microwave. Personally, I tried different options and found the above time the most perfect option. So, just try it out! Have fun! Enjoy coffee time!

エスプレッソマシン無しで、インスタントコーヒーとミルク泡立て器だけを使い、ご自宅で美味しいカフェラテを作ることができます。とても簡単ですが、美味しいです！ノーシューガーです。
必要なツール：
1. コーヒースケール：私はコーヒースケールを使用していますが、0.1gの測定ができるスケールなら何でも良いです。
2. ミルク泡立て器：USBで充電できるミルク泡立て器を使っています。ダイソーの電池式のミルク泡立て器を試してみましたが、毎日使っていたので、毎回電池を変えなければなりませんでした。ちょっと不便なので、USB充電式ミルク泡立て器に切り替えました。今のところ、満足しています。私のように毎日ミルク泡立て器を使用する場合は、USB充電式のものを使用することをお勧めします。私は、Amazonで約1,000円で購入しました。私のミルク泡立て器には3つのモードがあり、このコーヒーレシピには最も弱いモードを使用しています。
3. メジャーグラスカップ：500ml、ダイソーで220円で購入しました。このカップで電子レンジでミルクを温めたり、泡立てたり注いだりします。
4. コーヒーマグ：300ml程度のマグがこのレシピに最適です。
コーヒーの材料:

2. 牛乳：普通の牛乳です。
カフェラテの作り方：
- お湯：35〜40ml。90度で沸騰しておきます。
- インスタントコーヒー：2.2g
- 牛乳：200ml、電子レンジで600W、1分30秒で温めます。
- お湯とインスタントエスプレッソコーヒーを混ぜます。
- 温めた牛乳を最大50秒で泡立てます。
- エスプレッソコーヒーを注いで、ラテアートを作ります。以上です！
5分で美味しいカフェラテが出来あげます！
