This concert was broadcasted in Norwegian television summer 1986. I was to late to press record on my videoplayer, so I don`t have the first songs for this amazing concert. Well, I left the house, and when I came home later, someone had stopped the video recording....I`m still crying. If someone out there have this concert in it´s entirety, it would be great if you message me. Lava, Norwegian group formed in Årdal, Sogn og Fjordane in 1977 by, (my neighbor municipality) among others, guitarist Svein Dag Hauge and drummer Per Hillestad. Later Rolf Graf, Marius Muller, Egil Eldøen and Sigurd Khøn joined Lava. Rip; Rolf Graf 2013, Marius Muller car accident 1999 and Sigurd Khøn tsunami victims in Thailand 2004. Lava is touring this year. (2014) Jonny Sjo the eminent musician best known from the hit band D`Sound as new bassist, and the incredible talented Frode Mangen on keyboard. What to say? Lava is just so amazing to listen to. What a group of musicians this is !!! This time Hanne Boel from Denmark sing few songs with Lava. Hanne Boel herself is an amazing singer with a lot of great songs. I knew she would be with Lava at this concert, and Im not surprised she did sing songs from the amazing album she came with in 1992 when Andrae Crouch Singers did feature on the album. It was an amazing sound on this concert, and everyone of the Lava musicians do a brilliant job. Unfortunately I were not able to pick up the good sound from the concert, but later I might will. NB! Mini concert at Chateau Neuf, Oslo, November 1977. Kari Diesen got a very unknown Jarreau to his first visit to Oslo at Club 7 february 1977, sent in NRK show immediately after, and followed up with two concerts in Chateauneuf, november 1977. The year after he became bestseller also in the United States and made his first world tour. February 1981, he played in a sold out concert in Oslo that did not fit with Jarreau's electric music.14 year old Silje Nergaard which is a big fan, gave him a rose on stage. February 1987 he performed his recently published "L is for lover" in front of three thousand in Skedsmohallen, with David Sanborn and Septett as opening band. The year after, march 1988, he sang two songs from his recent "Heart's Horizon" in Norwegian television. He composed the title music to Bully and Blonde who had NRK premiere march 1989 and held a concert the same week, in Skedsmohallen march 1989 starring Abraham Laboriel on bass. Total: 37 minutes
