The world's oldest dog has just celebrated his 31st birthday.

Portuguese pooch Bobi, a purebred livestock guardian dog, was declared the world's oldest canine by Guinness World Records in February.

His owner's family planned a birthday party in their rural town, with over 100 guests and a dance troupe in attendance.
