It's clear right now that Pixar's prime has long gone past us. With the flop of Lightyear, cutting off employees, Elemental being marketed horribly and now a new teaser trailer for Elio... is it enough? Is this movie gonna bring Pixar up the ranks again? Since public opinion has been declining in recent years for Disney Pixar. I don't think so. I see basic jokes, simple stories, and repetitive tropes from a writing and directing perspective that seems so.. unearned. A script where no one is trying. Since modern day Pixar feels so corporate and safe. Maybe I'm wrong! I hope to be, since ironically enough I am rooting for Elio. Pixar is now an underdog studio. Or at least that's how it seems. This Is Why Pixar's Elio Concerns Me...
